AUTHOR'S NOTES: This was written for the loveyoulikesin challenge. Thank youuu lightthesparks for putting on this whole thing and arting so beautifully. We met during SDMB and I now consider you one of my partners in crime. I began writing this around 7x03, just after Amy Pond. It was inspired by A) the SPN writers giving us "handholding: this is real," and, B) how much I love Lucifer. Declaring this loudly in public is always amusing. I'm very excited to have finished this because I haven't let myself read any s7 fic that has a lot of hallucinations because I wanted to write this without biting anyone else's style, or whatever, so now that I'm done, I will go indulge in all the fic! Thanks also to oddishly and lavishsqualor, who were there when I was in a despair over ever finishing. Writing buddies! Then, zempasuchil and twoskeletons lent me their idea of Sam kind of grounding Dean right back with hand squashing. And finally, thanks go to riyku, who is such a thorough, excellent beta. SO having read your fic I see how it went and YES OK FOR SURE. (Hilariously though, a few days before you posted this fic it randomly occurred to me that Lucifer should totally try to convince Sam that Dean wants him and then Sam makes a move and then EVERYTHING IS RUINED FOREVER except probably not because they loooove each other. SO so of course when you posted this I saw the summary and went OMG EXACTLY WHAT I NEED)
